Caribbean Tale
The Caribbean coast is a familiar image - paradise beaches and crystal clear waters where people sit and sip drinks in the setting sun; an image told and retold to us through commercials and social media posts. We are used to viewing it as a magical and aspirational place.
My Caribbean is different- it is strange and artificial. It is neither real nor invented, true or untrue, a world where the surreal and uncanny blend together into a tale of sorts.
